GOVERNMENTAL ISSUES

UNEMPLOYMENT: REALTORS® have the ability to file for unemployment. What you need to know about expanded unemployment benefits for COVID-19 can be found in the Forbes.com Advisor report that states, "The stimulus bill expands unemployment protections to gig workers, freelancers and self-employed individuals, who typically don’t qualify for unemployment benefits." VACATION RENTAL CLOSURES: Governor DeSantis has suspended all new vacation rentals in Florida for 14 days beginning March 27, 2020 in an Executive Order that he hopes will help stop the spread of COVID-19. The directive has several exclusions in it on page 3, Executive Order 20-87.
HUD MODIFICATIONS: In support of initiatives to combat the spread of COVID-19, the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is making modifications to the re-verification of employment and Acceptable Appraisal Reporting Forms and Protocols (Appraisal Protocols) by allowing exceptions.

MLS SUPPORT

Supra eKEY: If you have questions or want to request e-KEY activation services, email supra@nabor.com. The Supra support line is 877-699-6787.
Supra Lockbox: Supra Lockbox: To purchase a lockbox, make an appointment by emailing supra@nabor.com. Your lockbox will be placed outside NABOR's main entrance upon your arrival to pick-up at  the agreed upon time.
Matrix: The Open House feature has been suspended, meaning agents won't be able to input, search or view open houses at this time.
MLS Billing: The fees and billing period have been reduced from $120 for 6 months (April–September) to $60 for 3 months (April–June). The timeline to pay your E-Bill has been extended from 30 to 45 days. The revised deadline is May 15, 2020.

LEGAL RESOURCES
Two new forms from NABOR® are now available: Amendment to Sales Contract COVID-19 and Addendum to Sales Contract COVID-19. These forms are for use in the event the parties would like to extend certain dates or time periods as a result of COVID-19. Login to NABOR.com, click on MLS/NABOR Contracts and download the COVID-19 forms on the drop-down menu on NABOR.com.
ONLINE EDUCATION

NABOR® now offers many online courses to provide you with valuable classes on today's hottest topics - directly from your desktop. Look for the NABOR® Education Center email to find the many webcasts and webinars, class details and registration links.

MEMBERSHIP CORNER
Membership Support: Call 239-597-1666 to reach Membership support staff. If your call transfers to voicemail, staff will respond as soon as possible. You can also email membership@nabor.com with your questions and comments.

Membership Transfers: A membership transfer from one office to another will be completed as soon as the transfer appears on DBPR.

License Renewals: Members with licenses that expire March 31, 2020 are allowed an additional 60 days to meet the DBPR requirements. Revised renewal deadline is May 31, 2020. The renewal date of March 31, 2020 will appear on your license if you file by deadline.
REALTOR® ADVOCACY

As coronavirus continues to be a developing concern in Florida and across the globe, your Florida Realtors® Leadership Team has been in constant contact with local associations and the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) to safeguard the continuity of service. NAR won major provisions for REALTORS® when the U.S. Senate passed a $2 trillion coronavirus (COVID-19) economic relief package with overwhelming bipartisan support.
